Overview
The Followers of Amphileph are those who gather to his teaching and banner. Spellmakers stand among them, and with them a claim that the old order of the Watchers is too slow, too bound, and no longer equal to the age.
Origins
Public records place the faction with Amphileph's break from the authority of traditional Watchers and the Elders of Rion. Those who believed strength and survival justified harder measures chose to follow him.
Beliefs
The Followers of Amphileph viewed the old order as weak and ineffective. They favored direct action, practical power, and the aggressive use of knowledge once considered dangerous or forbidden.
Conflict with the Watchers
The movement deepened the divide between traditional Watchers and the Spellmakers who took Amphileph's part. That quarrel is named in the public chronicles. Its later course remains sealed.
