Overview
The Embracarra are the undying wives of conquered kings. Whenever Broeden destroyed a kingdom, its ruling king was executed, while queens and royal consorts were transformed into eternal servants of his court. They stand as living monuments to defeat, forced to witness the passage of ages while serving the architect of their downfall.
Appearance
Embracarra possess skeletal elegance and unnaturally preserved forms. Their flesh appears drained by centuries of captivity, while flame-like crowns of spiritual energy rise from their heads. Though physically diminished, they retain an unmistakable sense of bearing and dignity that hints at their former station.
The Curse of Service
Unlike Possessors or other Underworld horrors, the Embracarra retain their memories, identities, and awareness. This preservation is itself the punishment. They remember their kingdoms, families, and lost lives while remaining forever in the service of the being responsible for their destruction.
Role in Broeden's Court
Embracarra serve as attendants, heralds, ceremonial advisors, and symbols of conquest. Their presence reminds visitors and prisoners alike that Broeden does not merely defeat rulers. He erases dynasties.

Most Embracarra exist in a state of profound melancholy. Centuries of hopelessness grind away open rebellion, leaving only memory and sorrow.
