The Broeden Era describes the age during which Broeden's influence spread across the known world. Kingdoms fell, peoples were displaced, and entire generations grew up under the shadow of fear, war, and servitude.

Broeden's power extended across vast territories through armies, dark servants, and supernatural forces. Communities that resisted often paid a terrible price, while many others endured through secrecy, sacrifice, and faith.
Janus and the Promise of Rion
The teachings of Janus inspired hope during the darkest years of the era. His prophecies of Rion and a free people became the foundation for one of the greatest migrations in Erathian history.
The Watchers' War
The later years of the Broeden Era were defined by the Watchers' War, the rise of the Watchers and Spellmakers, and the appearance of the Sword Bearer. These events would ultimately challenge Broeden's dominance.
The Fall of Broeden
The era reached its climax with the assault on Broeden's stronghold and the destruction of his regime. Though Broeden fell, many of the forces and divisions created during his reign survived long afterward.
Legacy
The Broeden Era shaped every age that followed. Rion, Moonledge Peak, the Watchers, the Spellmakers, the Camonra, and the conflicts of later generations all trace their roots to this period.
