Overview
The Well of Kings, known in ancient records as Mimir na Stydhra, stands among the greatest repositories of knowledge in Erathe. It preserved the accumulated wisdom of Watchers and Spellmakers through histories, prophecies, rites, sciences, glyphs, and records passed from generation to generation.
The Seven White Tomes
The white-bound volumes preserved sacred Watcher knowledge. Within them were visions, laws, rites of the Creator, chronicles of the Watchers, ancient languages, and spiritual teachings that guided generations of protectors and scholars.
The Nine Red Tomes
The red-bound volumes recorded the achievements of the Spellmakers. They contained alchemy, mathematics, shaping formulae, sciences, conjuration methods, and studies so powerful that later generations debated whether such knowledge should survive at all.
Jaros and Ardidhus
Public records place much of the Well with Jaros and the Monastery of Ardidhus. There the records were gathered, protected, studied, and copied. What later became of that house remains sealed.
Moonledge Peak
Tophian and the scholars of Moonledge Peak are named among those who kept the Well. The mountain is Keeper of the Knowledge of the West. How the recension was made, and from what fragments, remains sealed.
