Moonledge Peak

Mountain Citadel • Keeper of Knowledge

The great refuge of scholars, Watchers, and preserved knowledge after the fall of older realms.

Moonledge Peak

Overview

Moonledge Peak stands among the most important locations in Erathe. Carved into the mountains and protected by natural defenses, it became a sanctuary for knowledge, learning, and civilization.

Keeper of the Knowledge of the West

Following the great conflicts of earlier ages, surviving records, histories, teachings, and traditions were preserved within Moonledge. Scholars, Watchers, scribes, and refugees carried what they could save into its halls.

The Deep Libraries

Beneath the mountain lies an immense network of archives, repositories, galleries, and vaults. These collections preserve knowledge that might otherwise have been lost to history.

Life Within the Peak

Moonledge is not merely a fortress or library. It is also a living community of historians, craftsmen, scholars, defenders, and families who maintain the traditions entrusted to them.

The Watchers and the Archives

Many Watchers, teachers, and chroniclers worked within Moonledge's halls. Their efforts helped preserve records associated with the Well of Kings, the Watchers' War, and the histories of Rion.

Legacy

Moonledge Peak became the heir to much of the intellectual legacy of earlier ages. Its role as a preserver of memory remains one of the defining features of Erathian civilization.
