Graeson

Overview

Graeson is named in the public record as a captain of the Rion Guard. Stoic and unyielding in the chronicles of the north, he led roughly two hundred of the Guard across the Calarph tundra toward Broeden's fortress of Durageim — a march the public record still calls a deed many said could not be done.

The Durageim Strike

Public accounts place Graeson at the head of the infiltration of Durageim, with Praedhos among his seconds. The Archives remember the approach, the silence of command, and the Guard's entry into Broeden's halls. Further records of that strike remain sealed.

Among the Guard

Those who marched with him speak of a captain who did not flinch — who pressed forward when lesser men would have turned. Praedhos is named among the men who stood nearest him on that road. Later records of the siege of Durageim still speak his name among the Guard of the opening war.
