Overview
Daoradh's Mound stands on Red Field west of the Wall — a circular rise of massive dry-stacked stones taken from the barrier itself. At its center the public record notes a stone slate bearing the names of Daoradh's company. Maps of Etharath mark the mound beside the Wall and the Hall of the Seven Stewards.
Raised by the Families
Valley lore holds that after an eighty-foot section of the Wall failed in 1486 AF, and Daoradh's company was gone from the breach, the families of the missing took the fallen stones and built this mound in their honor. What became of that company is not told in the open Archives.
Beside the Breach
The Wall still shows the gap the mound remembers. In later years only a small outpost kept watch near the broken stone. Travelers describe quiet grass, wind, and the weight of names on the slate — not the bustle that once crowded the works.
Later Years
The mound remains a place of homage in western memory. Further records of Daoradh's Mound in later years remain sealed.
