Overview
The Camonra were created during the Watchers' War and initially served as the military strength behind some of the most devastating campaigns of the age. Over time they evolved beyond their origins and began developing identities, loyalties, families, and ambitions of their own.
Origins
Their creation is tied to the experiments of Amphileph and the conflict between the Watchers, Spellmakers, and Broeden. What began as a weapon eventually became a civilization.
Tobor and Leadership
The rise of leaders such as Tobor transformed the Camonra from expendable soldiers into a people capable of self-governance, loyalty, sacrifice, and long-term vision.
Culture
By the later stages of the conflict, the Camonra had established their own traditions, families, warriors, settlements, and social hierarchies. Their story became more complicated than simple service to a master.
Relationship to the Inferiors
The Camonra should not be confused with the Inferiors. Though both trace their existence to tampering and transformation, they represent different branches of Erathian history.
Legacy
The Camonra remain one of the most controversial peoples in the history of Erathe. To some they were monsters. To others they became proof that destiny can diverge from origin.
