Overview
Boundland is named in the public record as the forbidding Third Quarter east of Rainland — the land no man dares enter. Chronicles place it beyond black mountains and a valley approach, with the City of White as its heart.
The Binding
Public theology remembers Boundland as the country of Amphileph's confinement after the Pact of Ten. Evliit and the Faithful Nine bound the rebellion in the east; the Boundland took its name from that seal. The Archives keep the Binding as geography and doctrine, not as a later war chronicle.
Mountain Gate
Travelers' maps show jungle and storm country of the Second Quarter giving way to dark mountains, then the valley into Boundland. Beyond lie barren northeast wastelands. The pale capital of the City of White stands within that realm.

Boundland anchors the Third Quarter with Amphileph's seat. Westward roads run through Rainland toward Ane Manall and the Wall. Further records of journeys into Boundland remain sealed.
