Overview
The Arcula-Naroom haunt the corpse-filled trenches around Durageim. Though only shoulder-height to a human, they are agile, violent, and far stronger than their size suggests. Public records name their black blood. What later ages made of it remains sealed.
Appearance
Arcula-Naroom possess heavily muscled bodies, enlarged claws, oversized jaws, dense rows of predatory teeth, and thick hide adapted to the pits. They are more catalyst than battlefield giant, and more nightmare than army.
Behavior
They frequently inhabit death pits, corpse trenches, and other foul ground around Durageim. Their behavior is territorial and aggressive. A healthy traveler who keeps clear of the pits is wiser than one who tests them.
